Heads of state of the powerful countries together dispatched a stainless steel coffin we’d made to encoffin him.

Our brain in fact doesn't always produce thought. But once it's produced, it's definitely distorted.

In the pocket of the pants that were put in the wash, could be notes on which thoughts were written.

Thoughts very possibly were produced under this lamp.

With trust, it exists; without trust, it doesn't exist (indistinct turtle bone writing).

People Walk Up, Water Flows Down   人往高处走,水往地处流

Installation, glass, steel, sanitary equipment, clean water, cycling pump, 2003

Junction: Architectural Experiment of Chinese Contemporary Art

[group exhibition] – Lianyang Architecture Art Museum, Shanghai

People walking up is a type of activity that serves people's basic instincts, desires and their subconscious,

it requires almost no exercise of rational judgment. The impulse to ascend always lacks a clear aim; in the

process, limbs largely act in advance of the brain. Water flowing down is the result of rational judgment

and a realization of people's objectives. The recognition of water running deep may promote rational behavior

among people - for example, how to utilize, how to control, and how to dispose of water.
